General product and buying guidance. You can contact us before preparing a complete specification; the final grade and supply scope are discussed for your requirement.
Define the equipment and battery limits
Identify the furnace, kiln or thermal-system section, project stage and existing condition. State whether demolition, shell repair, steelwork, mechanical equipment, electrical work, utilities and waste handling are included. A refractory EPC package does not automatically mean a complete production plant.
Approve the engineering basis
Agree operating and upset conditions, process chemistry, design life assumptions, lining drawings, anchor interfaces and thermal calculations. Set a review and approval sequence before material procurement. Record changes to the input data and their effect on materials, cost and schedule.
Connect procurement with installation
The material schedule should identify grades, shapes, quantities, packing marks and inspection requirements. The construction plan should address access, local resources, surface preparation, brick joints, casting, curing and inspections. Link delivery milestones to the actual installation sequence.
Make commissioning and acceptance explicit
Define the material-specific dry-out programme, monitoring responsibilities, startup conditions and handover records. Agree what will be inspected or measured, when acceptance occurs and how outstanding items are closed. Performance targets require a stated operating basis and a measurement method.
Include the next operating campaign
Discuss inspection intervals, repair criteria, critical spares and the review of operating data. Identify the responsible group company or project partner for each contracted service, including site execution and aftercare. Confirm country-specific delivery arrangements before mobilisation.
