Factory-formed bricks
Refractory bricks are manufactured as shaped units and assembled into a lining. Material family, brick shape and joints all matter. The product catalogue includes high-alumina, magnesia and other shaped refractory families.
Castables formed during installation
Castables are mixed and installed to form a lining or component. They can be considered for complex shapes and repair positions. Material choice, installation, curing and drying need to be discussed together; the product name alone does not define the procedure.

Neither form is universally better. Send the equipment type, position, existing material or a short description. Complete drawings are useful when available, but are not required to start a conversation.
